Week 2: Poker Listings Run-Good Poker Tournament
Posted by DrunkBlonde | | Posted in: Poker Tips | Comments (4)Again I will be defending the honor of drunk poker players all over the world!
Today I have the good fortune to be playing in another Poker Listings Run-Good Challenge Poker Tournament at Poker Stars. At stake in this game are two World Series of Poker entries. This is a private invitational tournament just for poker bloggers. You may recall last week that I made the final table but had the misfortune of making a short stacked push with my AK suited, only to run into pocket aces. Well this week will be different!
Watch here – I’ll update this post throughout the game today, hopefully culminating with my victory dance as I collect my entry into the WSOP.

What: PokerListings Run-Good Challenge Tournament (Week 2)
When: Saturday 5/23/09
Where: Poker Stars
Bring It – Bloggers!

UPDATE: This will unfortunately be very brief. Dr Pauly took me out when my pocket jacks ran into his pocket aces. I would normally fold JJ preflop in the early stage of a 9 player tourney but Dr Pauly is a cagey player. I saw him making moves last week so I thought (incorrectly) that my jacks were the best hand. Best of luck to everyone in the game.

It would be nice to see both the game, and your victory dance. Good luck.
Thank you sweetie! Wish I could have done better. At least I won two out of three sit n goes while I watched the rest of the RGC Tournament. It’s a little consolation, but I really wanted that WSOP seat.

Thanks for the props.
Thanks for sticking around and watching us donk it up.
Damn I love your blog header. Makes me laugh everytime.
I’ve been drinking ever since I won. Usually I would start before the tournament, so maybe that is a sign…
Did you take a break from poker?
I really enjoyed reading your posts
Hope I will see more posts, and more videos.
