Online Poker Guide at PokerListings.com
Posted by DrunkBlonde | | Posted in: Poker Tips | Comments (1)I don’t plug many poker sites but I came across this one that I think is very helpful and it’s free. PokerListings.com is an online poker guide where you can find tons of information about the games but there are two sections that really got me excited.
1. Poker Strategy Articles: This is a bonanza of free poker strategies including Hold Em, Omaha and Seven-Card Stud. You can read the articles and view their tutorial videos. The strategies presented start with the absolute beginner and progress toward more advanced play. There are specific sections for beginners, tournaments, cash games, limit hold em, poker psychology, bankroll management and poker odds. No matter where you are in your progress as a poker player, you’re sure to find something helpful here. It’s all well written and FREE!
2. Poker Blogs: If you enjoy reading blogs as much as I do, then this will be right up your alley. These blogs are all related to poker strategies from the perspective of advance players who share their knowledge with everyone. I just read one blog post, by Steve Zolotow of Team Full Tilt, titled “Becoming a Complete Poker Player.” Steve advises everyone to learn all variations of poker to become a more complete player and to be able to take advantage of profitable opportunities when they exist. Other poker pro and celebrity blog authors include Andy Bloch, Liz Lieu, Jason Mercier, Matt Stout, Nolan Dalla, Arthur Reber, Sorel Mizzi and Annette Obrestad. Reading blogs by top level players is a great way to expand your knowledge of the game.
There are other great features at PokerListings.com such as their Poker News and their popular Poker Forum where you can discuss poker with players from all over the world.
